Ok, I have tried this but it doesn't work, I have to unplug the BT box, plug back in again and wait till it resets.
I have also swapped out the HDMI cables for the TV and Youview box - no change.
If I fast forward a recording, as soon as I hit play, the sound is gone, never to come back and this now happends every time.
It is now getting a little annoying to say the least.
Any ideas ?
That is an ongoing issue with everybody.
What have you set the HDMI output resolution to, on the YouView box?
Try changing the resolution to 1080i (Interlaced).
Just because the TV may support 1080p (progressive), it does not mean the the YV box can maintain this higher bit rate, there may be timing issues which are causing the loss of sound.
Its worth trying to see if it helps, you are very unlikely to notice the difference on the picture.
