Came online today, searched for all FreeView channels for my location and loaded.
When reading 'Find & Watch TV' channel list, this goes up to 300+ channels. Mine does not go beyond 101 and not listing such as the 'Discovery or National Geographical Channels' etc. or these 'Pay to View' like many others.
Where I am going wrong.
Also is it right for the YouView box to get hot underside at front.
The pay-per-view stuff doesn't have a channel number. It's effectively an app that runs on the box, and can be launched by the "BT" button on the remote.
It sounds like the extra live channels haven't been turned on yet, and you're just getting the standard Freeview. the others are streamed over the broadband. You need to contact BT TV to find out what's happening.
But first check thet the YouView box is connected to the Home Hub by an ethernet cable.
It takes a little time to get TV activated up to 24 hours in fact and you should get a message when it is ready to try. Check if you have connection using bbc iplayer to ensure the box is properly on the internet
