No Players/Apps, but can load catch up from TV Guide

Since trying new wifi layout in my home to improve signal in some areas, the youview box has lost all Players/ App info when selected using the blue button. The wifi is connected ok, and it says broadband is restored.... and the wifi connections are the same as before I tried different layouts.

So no direct link to BBC iplayer, ITV Hub etc., but I can still access them by choosing an already transmitted programme from the TV guide. Doing so opens the relevant catch up service and the programme plays fine!

Anyone come across this, or have any suggestions as to how I can restore things?

BTW. I've done repeated youview box and home hub power cycles, and checked that all software is up to date.
