I will say the picture quality is far better on the NowTV app than through the EPG link even with the cat5 cable. This was disappointing 😞
But I think that is another issue.
I cannot see me upgrading to HD unless I sort out the wiring.
At least I know now.
Managed to get a cat 6 flat cable and everything is working now.

Same here, again, third or fourth time since beginning of March before Covid-19. Only with me I lose everything and just get a blank screen and my BT UHD box won't turn off unless I unplug the whole shebang. I've done three or four factory resets in a month and solution lasts a few days till it drops again. I did think it was my set up but it seems clear from this thread that this is BT's network/server problem and it needs resolving as doing factory resets is only a very temporary solution.
