Re: Overly confusing options for BT YouView

Chaps,

Have took the advice and purchased a set of 500Mbps PLA's.

I connected them as would be the case for a possible BT TV purchase and got the following results:

Infinity speed direct to hub: 74/16

PLA's: 62/12

I am assuming this speed will be sufficient to run the multicast channels. I can also view the test channel.

Assuming I add to my infinity package, the price seems to be £7 plus £3 for HD and the set up fee.

Might give it a try.

Re: Overly confusing options for BT YouView

Sorry I meant to reply but my daughter arrived from England. Yes that will work perfectly well. Better speed than I have and all is well

Re: Overly confusing options for BT YouView

Its more about having a consistent throughput. Without that your streams would keep freezing. This is why bt dont provide them on new installs anymore.

Re: Overly confusing options for BT YouView

Thanks folks, the pla speeds are pretty consistent so think all should be ok.

Will order and hopefully won't take too long for the equipment to arrive!
