Pairing YouView Remote with TV

Hope someone can assist me with this, BT online chat couldn't help and various online guides now working either! 

I have a YouView box and LG TV, the BT remote has been working happily with TV since I paired it over a year ago.

Monday it stopped working! Since then I've:

Changed batteries

Reset remote

Reset YouView Box

Following instructions it appears to work, i.e. lights flash and once it turned off. But then wouldn't turn back on. Once it turned back on, but volume etc wouldn't work.

Remote works for all BT box stuff, just won't pair with TV.

BT support suggested that LG may have changed code  - I'm using 2992 

Any ideas gratefully received!

What else has changed in the room where you are using the TV? Any other electrical / electronic equipment being used? Being plugged in to the mains?  Try turning off and unplugging everything except the TV and the Youview box incluing room lights.

Cheers - will give that a go, nothing has changed to my knowledge! Remote stopped working one day
