yes - today I deleted the obsolete Youview App and installed the BT App 3.3.9.
I then deleted the old pairing on the T4000 showing as "iphone 6" and then re-paired the devices without issue. This time the phone is listed as "mobile device" though. Sent a record request from the phone app and the recording was acknowledged after 5 minutes, which is a slower response than the old Youview app.
App developer says some boxes are incorrectly reporting that they don't support the new recording service. They are investigating as a priority.
Having same issue.
Received a new 4000 Box and have gone through the pairing process several times plus the troubleshooting.
the error code is not listed anywhere AY182.
Software on Box is up to date.
IOS app is latest too.
My iphone 7 worked well with previous old box and I could send recordings to the box.
Any help appreciated.
I did reply and am waiting for a response. I tried to pair with iPad and Android phone without success.
Software just updated on tv box - tried pairing again - after all that is what the error message said needed to happen.
still can’t pair my phone.
