Persistent requests to returm TV box.

Go to solution

I left BT about 3 months ago and have been getting persistent requests to returm my TV box.I thought that I could keep the box for 2 reasons - 1, because I thought I had bought the box myself from BT and 2, I had completed the minimum BT TV contract.

Could a MOD please contact me to check this out for me please.

If you completed the minimum 12 month term, then the box is yours to keep, and there is no need to send it back to be recycled. So just ignore the messages.

For those people that do not complete the minimum term, there is a charge for the box, but its still theirs to keep, but BT have to offer to recycle it.

Hi Keith and thanks for the quick reply.Yea I'm fairly sure I did complete the minimum contract quite a few months ago way before my BB contract came to an end, I've never paid a cancellation charge so I guess I must have.

Somebody ought to do something to stop BT sending out these worrying letters.

Cheers,

Del.
