I have the same problem just updated to a 4K box as have a smart tv now 4K compatible and now all does is chirp (sound) and pixelate channels plugged in the old box and works completely fine I thought it was the aerial or hdmi both replaced and reset the new box got a new 4K box and still exactly the same?? many ides? Many thanks
I’m led to believe that the problem is due to the use of the homeplug. when I phoned up the techteam suggested they send me new plugs or a long cable.
I had previously bought an Asus router and wifi extender and tried using that instead of the homeplugs but the Youview box didn’t register the internet connection despite other devices working with the ethernet cable from the wifi extender. My BT TV contract has expired so I’m now contemplating ditching BT and going with Sky.
