Hi
The pixelation was really bad last night when it was windy, most of the time its the connection dropping which can happen at anytime.
Regards Mick

Then there is a bad connection somewhere on the external network. If you are fed overhead from a pole, then it could be a fault on the dropwire, or the associated connections.

Report the line fault, and  hopefully it will be fixed. Any problems, please post back here.

Once it has been fixed, and your picture is clear, then please update this thread. Thanks.

Hi Neil
They rung up and cancelled the engineer saying they had found a fault. We are still getting disconnected all the time so the fault isnt fixed.

Re: Pixelation

Hi,

Sounds like your YouView box is fine. However your router, router link or ISP service is not.

Can you give details of your Broadband provider and the router you are using.

Have you tested out your neighbours Wi-Fi bands and strengths?

Do you also have Sky Q? If so do you have a problematic mini box?

How many other devices share your bandwidth? Does the problem coincide with other device use?

Have you tested your link speed for the router when you are getting pixalation?

Is your TV link from your router via powerline units. Have you run diagnostics (App) on the powerline units?

If powerline, are the units on seperate ring mains. If powerline what is the make of the powerline units?

Is your master phone socket old. Does it have an product code? Is your router connected to the master socket?

What model master socket do you have. Does your phone line have noise on the line?

Be regards, ByeToSky
