“Please set up your NOW TV password“

Can anyone rescue me from the misery of BT’s hopeless live chat “support”?

I joined BT two weeks ago. My account says “Please set up your NOW TV password. Set up a password to access your NOW TV account and watch on your devices.”

I click the Manage box and it takes me to https://skyid.sky.com/resetpassword/nowtv and asks me to “Set or reset your password. Enter your email or username”.

I enter my BT email id which is the same as my BT Username and it replies “We couldn’t identify you. Please check and try again.”What on earth do I do to complete this simple task please? BT’s support haven’t a clue and direct me to NOW. NOW doesn’t provide human support. The tickets I raise with BT on this just get closed. I’ve seen others in the community have had the same problem but there is no solution posted anywhere that I can see. It shouldn’t be this hard. Help!
