Hi
Just ordered and received my youview box. I requested the adapters when ordering and they were delivered with the box at no extra cost.
Quick and easy to set up, Ethernet cables included. Works perfectly.
cool thanks, i cant order til my broadand order is marked as completed tomorrow lol
Bear in mind that it happens in a round-about way rather than directly asking if you want adapters. They simply ask if your box will be more than a certain distance from the router. If you click Yes, then you'll get free adapters. If you click No, then you wont.
im having problems ordering it now lol iv just tried and its saying my line is to slow yet a line test says im getting 16-17mbs?
just for anyone else with this probem i rang customer services about it and they say there is a fault on the systems and they are fixing it within the next 48 hours 🙂
Can you clarify please - does this mean the powerline adaptors must be on the same ring circuit or is being on a common consumer box sufficient?
yes the adapters must be on the same circuit/ fuse/MCB. Occassionally they work but in most instances they dont. I have had to run a seperate network cable from the bedroom to the router downstairs.
