Problems with Youview Box.

Hello,

I am having the following problems with my BT youview box, find that sometimes the box will show a scheduled problem with a recording that is set the problem with the recording is that it is set in the future.

Also I have done a reset on the box using the USB recovery that download the latest software from the server and this goes fine but after the box restarts and the setup start the box will check for updates and then starts downloading the updates, is there a way to pass this on so that the updates can be built into the software on the server so when download the software all the updates are built into the software and when the box is setting up and it checks for updates the software is up to date .

Any help would be appreciated

The first problem usually means the programme scheduled to be recorded is no longer being shown. If you cross-check with the EPG you will find it is not there any more.

Had this a lot lately with cancelled Premiership rugby games due to Covid outbreaks.
