Our Internet TV is exactly the same ..... sound fades in and out, often multiple times a minute ..... driving me NUTS!  Been going on for a couple of months or so now.

I have turned off YouView box, checked all wires for good connectivity, turned YouView box back on and it's still there 😞

Ours is our original YouView box so we've had it a few years now - we're on Superfast broadband, have the latest router - ANY advice would be gratefully appreciated

We don't record Internet programmes and it's the Internet programme channels NOT Freeview we are having sound problems with.

As for loss of sound on Internet channels SD and HD the answer is yes

@WillCo I've started your own thread as you're responding to questions directed at the OP who is experiencing a different problem.

How is your Youview box connected to the hub? Are you using powerline adapters?

they are sat side by side on the shelf connected by ethernet cable and we have no powerline adapters as it is plugged straight into the phone line which is 3 feet away from the box

Our box used to stutter on Internet channels (but fine when recorded). Updating the broadband connection in settings (edit connection, automatic) resolved it.
