Hello,
I am trying to set up my YouView remote to control my TCL TV, I have used this same YouView box on a Samsung TV, which worked fine. I have used the guide here and it accepts the 3285 code for TCL, but holding down the TV on/off button for a minute or two does nothing. I have also tried pressing OK after it accepts the code, as some have said on other posts, but doesn't seem to work.
I have the box and remote shown here - https://www.bt.com/help/tv/fix-a-problem/remote-control/how-do-i-control-my-tv-with-my-bt-tv-remote-...
I have read on some other posts that other companies make TVs on behalf of other companies and it could be there codes, any idea who might make TCL TVs? The TV is a TCL 32ES568 Android TV.
Thanks in advance.

it could be any of these (or maybe none), you'll just have to try them and see if one works

Thanks for replying, those didn’t work unfortunately. I have managed to get it working using a Thompson code, 0662, read another post that TCL bought Thompson. So on/off works and volume, input/source works but you can’t use youview remote to press up/down to change. That I can live with. When I went through the process it did take a minute or two before it turned off the TV.
Hi @jrhop,

Thanks
