Remote volume control

Some information about how the Youview box is connected to your TV and to any sound system would be useful. Are you talking about the volume setting on the Youview box or on the TV / sound system?

I don't know the answer to your question. We have a black TV box connected to our Panasonic TV. All was well until we tried to transfer to use one remote instead of two. After following the instructions in the user guide, we are left with no volume control on either remote.

It sounds like the attempt to get the Youview remote to control the TV did not work. Presumably the TV remote still changes the volume on the TV?  If you first press the PVR button at the top of the Youview remote does it change the volume on the Youview box?

Both remotes turn the volume up from zero to about half volume, even though the on screen  sliding line shows it should be at maximum volume.  The sound doesn't start until the slider is about half way along, and by the time it's at the end (maximum) it's at a low volume that is not high enough to listen to properly.  I don't know what a PVR button is, sorry.}

The PVR button is at the top of the Youview remote next to the TV button.

We have 3 buttons at the top of the bt remote control, TV on the left, the power button in the middle and TV AV on the right, are we talking about the same remote? Our bt box is marked 4K/UHD.
