I am pleased to announce that we will be rolling out the latest software update for the T1000(H3) YouView boxes. This update will go to all boxes in the wee hours of tomorrow morning so make sure your box is left on or in standby

Sound much louder - had to turn down.
Edit channels feature - Never used this on old gen - but gave it a try and hid the HD channels - OK
Continue to next recording - not tried yet.
Playback bar timeout improvement - not noticed any difference.
Info bar improvement MyTV - not sure what has changed.
Programme Action panel - ?
Smart landing series recording - not tried yet.
Improvements to navigation and delete confirmation for recordings - better information but I had expected an "Are you sure" warning when deleting a series.

I was unaware that there had been a software update until I did an MM2 reset because the box had started freezing (perhaps the update did not apply properly?). Anyway, my impressions:
Sound seems quieter - I have to turn it up!
Pictures on my recordings icons have all disappeared. Even recordings made after the MM2 reset do not have pictures. Scheduled recordings do still have their pictures.
My TV on the main You View screen (Info Bar?) says I have no content!
I don't know what the Programme Action Panel or Smart landing series recording means!?
Seems to be more sluggish than before.
Well the MM2 hasn't fixed the locking up as it has just done it again. It happens when I try to play a recording - the display on the front of box shows the title and 00:00, but nothing else happens - aaarrrgh!!!
Yet another batch of failed recordings of episodes of series which were set up weeks ago. Some of them aren't on catch-up, it's incredibly annoying!
This box is a pain in the rear, it's time to bin it and buy a decent one!
Same with us.. Just lots of failed recordings we set up prior to the update.. Most annoying not what we expect from BT. Let's hope they sort it quickly .
Strange - I have not had any failed recordings - I wonder if it is because I only watch in SD?
No missed recordings here - touch wood!
The recordings pictures have returned, but still can't connect via the app.
