AMC is currently unwatchable because of the sound issue.....again!!

It strikes me as being pretty basic stuff. How does it keep happening?

If it helps at all and in the unlikely event that anyone is interested in fixing it, apart from the incessant unbearable warbled audio, the centre channel content appears to be coming from the surround left speaker. I can’t tell what is going on with the other channels, but suffice to say  5.1 content is completely broken.

The warbling continues in stereo through the ad breaks.

The entire channel is a waste of space on the EPG at the moment.

It needs fixing fast. That’s three recordings I’ve had to delete as useless now. Not acceptable in any way, shape or form.

I have this exact issue as well.

I recorded a movie on Saturday evening which is unwatchable, the channel still has this issue today.

As you say, totally unacceptable, maybe an email to the CEO of BT could get a resolution ?

Yay! One year on, the first time I have used the channel since FTWD finished last season and the same damn problem is still there, great tech team work there BT!

 

same as last year, glad I’m blowing £39 a month on this rubbish.

 

fix it properly and permanently please!!!

Hi guys,

Thanks for taking the time to report this.  I'm sorry that for the sounds issues experienced watching the AMC HD channel on Sky's platform.

I have raised this with our service team and they were able to replicate the issue.  They believe they've fixed it now.  Can you guys check and post back to let me know please?

Thanks. It seems to be fixed accessing via Sky Q. The movie on air at the moment is behaving itself. 

Why does this keep happening though and why does it need us to identify that there is a problem? Surely someone should be monitoring every channel on a regular basis.

A google of AMC sound issues brings a lot of problems going back 5 years.

This has been a recurring problem for the last few years. Recorded FTWD on my sky+ on Sunday and Monday and both were the same sound distortion- happened with The Terror too. Appalling that we pay so much money to BT and the sound problem persists. Please make sure you fix it -seen hundreds of customers complaining now.
