Suddenly lost all channels between 106 & 200

Everything seemed to be working ok until today. I go to 105 (Channel 5 HD) and go up a channel and instead of getting BBC4 it goes straight to 201 (some cbeebies stuff).

I've retuned/powered off, checked cables etc and everything looks fine.

Anyone else having this issue?

That sounds like a Freeview outage, check this page for your area.

Thanks - it shows nothing planned for the London area and I would have thought I would just not receive any signal rather than having a whole block of channels just disappear from the list of channels the bt box is showing?

Re: Suddenly lost all channels between 106 & 200

Digital TV works differently to how analogue used to work. With analogue it was one carrier frequency one channel, since the Digital Switch Over it has been one frequency one multiplex. If just one carrier is taken off air (say for planned maintenance or because of a fault) then you will lose a block of channels but not all channels.

Check this site for faults in the London area, I think you'll find there are a few
