System update on June 23rd - Problems with accessing or playing on demand programmes

Hi Everyone,

 

From Monday 23rd June (00:01 onwards) for up to 48 hours you might notice a delay in new Catch up programmes appearing on BT Player. Sorry for any inconvenience but we'll be working hard to make sure that the update completes as quickly as possible.

 

As part of the change, you may find your YouView box will prompt you to “set up” a channel for Extra channels (channels delivered via your Broadband line) such as BT Sport, this is normal and you should only need to do this once.  Simply click “OK” if you get prompted to set up a channel. This only applies to Extra TV channels – not Freeview channels.
