My youview T2100 is failing to boot up.
It gets as far as the 'waking up' screen then goes black and hangs. Interestingly though, as soon as the screen goes blank, I hear a noise from the box - similar to the noise you used to hear when a modem was trying to connect. This noise keeps repeating itself, has a rest for 15 secs and then starts again for a minute.
I have tried a soft reset - no luck. I have tried maintenence mode 1 - no luck. I tried maintenence mode 2 but it said that was not available. Not tried 3 yet as I dont want to loose the recorded programmes.
Any hope that the box is not dead?
