TV reception gone haywire

Can anyone help at all, the reception for the regular channels has basically gone. Can't get any channels except for when I'm accessing telly via the players
We have the fibre here with no roof aerial. I've done checks on the cables and they're all fine, internet is working fine - it's purely the t.v channels.
Thanks

Re: TV reception gone haywire

How are you getting the regular FreeView channels without a TV aerial?

Re: TV reception gone haywire

BT do not deliver the FreeView channels over the Internet, only the extra subscribed channels, so I am confused?

Perhaps somebody else can help?

Most likely, as they deliver all the channels over fibre.

Re: TV reception gone haywire

Reminds me of when I moved house and rang the Electricity Board to ask why the man had not been round to install my cooker ... which was gas!  Smiley Embarassed

No, I am not a lost virgin customer.

I am with BT and I have a BT Vision Box. Maybe there is an aerial in the loft but there is NOT one on top of the house.

If i had know that people would be so patronising I would have just gone straight to BT themselves rather than posting on a forum 😉

@leeanne1974

Do you get any FreeView programs if you plug the TV aerial directly into the TV?

Re: TV reception gone haywire

HI Keith, the aerial goes from the connetion box thing on the wall (please excuse the such highly technical language i'm using 😉 ) into the television.

Since yesterday, the only telly we can watch is when we go via the apps.

"live" television (as it were) is just breaking up constantly, it's completely unwatchable
