Earlier in the year there was a fault with the YouView boxes where UKTV Play would not open.
This was fixed around March I think but it has reappeared.
Early last week I noted I could not open UKTV Play. I thought I would leave a few days in case it would sort itself out but still faulty.
This morning I did a Factory Reset, I was able to open UKTV Play but it said there was no Internet connection.
I left it until this afternoon but when I tried again it is still the same and back to how it was earlier in the year. Select UK TV Play, I see "Loading" then it reverts to whatever I had been watching earlier.
Everything else seems OK.
Hi @JMB thanks for posting, I've just tested the UKTV player here and I was able to select a programme without a problem. I can see your firmware version is not on the latest version and the most recent update was for the players.
You can check if a software update is available manually at any time by going to:
If an update is available, your TV box will then download it automatically. Post back and let me know how you get on.

Looks as if might have updated overnight.
But still fails to open UKTV Play.
Switched off mains then back on
Just trying a Factory Reset
I did a Factory Reset and was able to access UKTV Play
I activated the code and could see the list of programmes that I had previously watched.
I went back into Apps again and selected UK TV Play to check OK and as on at the weekend, I got WHOOPS, THERE'S BEEN AN ERROR. UKTV PLay can't connect to the internet
I switched off using the controller then back on.
I can access UKTV Play but get an abbreviated version of that message
WHOOPS, THERE'S BEEN AN ERROR!
Error code UKTV-03-G001
Turned the power off then back on.
I can still access UKTV Play but again get the message about no Internet connection. Obviously I can still get other streamed channels.
Just had a look, back to it jumping to the channel I had last been watching when I select UKTV PLay.
So no longer get the message about Internet connection but I cannot connect to UKTV Play.
I did a Factory Reset earlier this evening and now have UKTV Play working again.
Just have to see how long it stays working!
