Haven’t used UKGOLD in a good few months but this evening I tried to load the app and it just started to load then went back to the channel I was watching before.
Not very good with technical,so be kind.
Try resetting the box by turning it off for 30 seconds using the power switch on the back and then turning it back on...
Thank you, tried that just now and unfortunately it still won’t load, it starts to then just goes black and back to the previous program.
Go into the settings section and there's a couple of options to update software and players. Select both of them and see if there is an update available.
The message I am getting when going to settings app update is this
We can’t update your Apps
please try again later or visit bt.com/tverrors
I did this and it asked for an error code, but there is no error code.
Am I correct in assuming that you are trying to watch UK Gold programmes on the Youview Box UK TV Play app
If so there may be a similar problem on the Youview community

I have looked at the link, the only thing I haven’t tried is the factory reset, I don’t think I could manage to do that it all seemed very technical and if I did it I’m sure I would never be able to set it up again, BT came out and set everything up.
I will probably have to get BT to come out and sort it, or do without that App.
