Ultra HD box - Having to perform Factory Reset on regular basis.

Hi

 

For a number of month I have been experiencing problems with my BT Ultra HD box.

 

On numerous occasions when i switch on the box I am prompted to perform a Software Reset or Factory Reset.

After performing the software reset the box will switch but I bo not have any Intrenet channels or catchup.

 

The only way I can get the channels back is to perform a Factory Reset, this is not a very good option as I lose all the recording settings.

As this is now happening every 2 weeks it has become very frustraing as recoordings series is very painful.

The is a corruption with the box software.

Have you tried maintenance mode option Internet/USB and keep recordings?

If after this you still have issues you need to call BT help and ask for a replacement

I have tried maintenance mode. This fixes the fault and gets the box working again but it continues to happen on a regular basis.
