Unable to enter text to fill in email and password boxes on Prime Video player sign-in
I am trying to log into the Amazon Prime Video player on my YouView box. The player opens up fine and asks me to sign in or register. I am already subscribed to Amazon Prime so i press sign in. Screen then asks me to 'sign in with my Amazon account' and gives me 2 boxes for email and password. With either box highlighted, I press the remote number keys multiple times to attempt to enter text but nothing happens.
Anyone else had this problem? I suspect there is an easy fix but don't know what I'm doing wrong. Surely this is the way to enter text from the remote?
Incidentally, I don't think this matters but I am not a BT TV subscriber. I have BT internet and use the BT You View Box for streaming and freeview.
