Very low sound on TV

Pretty new to BT, set everything up fine, synced TV with BT remote etc., but still find we have to put the sound up 30+ to hear the TV.

We do have a soundbar set up on the TV but again this too has to be loud.

Any suggestions please?

@carmelm Welcome to the community and thanks for posting.

If you find you have to turn up the volume to the maximum, using your YouView remote, but still have low volume, it's probably because it was set low on your set top box when you paired your remote with your TV.

How to fix and sync your TV and set top box volume.

  1. Use your YouView remote to set the volume to half way between low and high
  2. Use your TV remote to do the same
  3. You'll then have to re-pair your YouView remote with your TV >

Re: Very low sound on TV

I think by default the YV box volume is set to about 80%. Best to increase that to 100% by holding down the AD button on the remote (bottom left of the numeric section) & using the volume control to up the volume % to 100. Then just control the TV volume with the normal volume control.

No idea what @NeilO is talking about though. Wanted to put an emoticon here but couldn't find "confused"
