We couldn't find broadband information for this address.

Why do i receive this message when I use the YouView availability checker?
I have a working youview box from BT and router from the same.

Its possibly an account issue.

I have asked a moderator to provide assistance, they will post an invite on this thread.
They are the only BT employees on this forum, and are based in the UK.

Would this be down to me having the YouView service from BT rather than youview itself?

I even use the YouView app to record programmes.

So the YouView checker brings up tv channel details but is unable to recognise that I have broadband.

Not sure how that works, but it should indicate that its available from BT. I am not sure even whether the moderators can advise on it, perhaps it thinks you cannot get a TV signal at your postcode.

I do notice the checker gives you an estimated broadband speed, so that may somehow link back to some database of speeds, and it has no records for your postcode and address.

Think you've probably answered it Keith being that my address is a new build and possibly not on their database as yet, having said that my address is recognised on the digital uk site.

If @sea2dog  is using the Youview website checker

https://www.youview.com/checker/

then the broadband details are checked and provided by a thirdparty.

Personally i don't think those broadband details are accurate.
