Can't understand why the landline number is not recognised being that it is been more than 24 hours as stated on the website, in fact I've been in this property for near to 6 months.

Yes that is the site I used for the YouView availability.

Landline number is recognised but as I say it is fairly new so possibly not on there website database or possibly is just not accurate.

Reason for asking this is that I do actually have the YouView app on my phone and I am able to record programmes on it and I have a YouView box from BT that works.

@sea2dog Thats the reason why, FTTP numbers are not recognised on the availability checker.

That is the problem, FTTP does not show on the database, unless there is also a copper feed to the house as well. The Openreach database is based on the copper network, so if you had an ADSL option as well, then you would be visible on the database.
