I have finally got round to resetting my YouView box - and loosing all my content and settings - to try and resolve the continual freezing problem.
No surprise the box is still freezing during playback and recording. Ive been putting this off for months as I didnt want to lose some content. Now Ive watched what I wanted and reset the box and just as I thought it hasnt made the slightest difference.
I now need an engineer to come and condem this dreadful piece of equipment which as I have stated before is Not Fit For Purpose.
Had my appointment cancelled today as engr phoned in sick and no one else to do the job. Next week for an appointment. Currently unable to eve do a reset as per recommendations sticks at nearly there. Only had the box changed last thurady 27th Nov.
