YouView error ipc6023 With powerline adapter

Hi,

I am hoping someone can help me...

I have a YouView box and due to the location of the fibre to the home box i have had to use a Netgear 1000mbs power line adaptor to move the BT home hub upstairs to get good wifi signal. Since doing this BT Sport now does not work and i am getting the error message ipc6023. I can still watch all the streaming services such as Netflix, Iplayer, prime and i also get BT sport on my Xbox. I know its not a bandwidth issue as I'm still getting a minimum of 40mbp up and 12 down when preforming a speed test.

I have tried numerous  times to reboot both router and YouView box and also changed the primary and secondary DNS address's to match the YouView box but still with no luck (and a very big headache after banging my head against the wall).

if anyone can help me save my sanity it would be greatly apprenticed.

Many thanks

Re: YouView error ipc6023 With powerline adapter

@Thompo_2

Is possible the adapters you are using do not support multicast, which the BT YouView box uses to display subscription channels.

The only ones guaranteed to work are the BT Mini connectors.
