The iOS App recieved an update yesterday including the ability to remotely record the internet channels. So hopefully it's not that far away from coming to our BT YouView boxes.

I was informed by BT that Autumn finishes on 31st October as far as they are concerned and was promised that the update would be released by then.

What is interesting that when I swapped from Sky to BT to save money, Sky decided they didn't want to lose me. They gave me 6 months free, including movies and sports (and I mean completely free - not a penny). Needless to say in 6 months I shall wave goodbye to BT and return to sky.

Phew, thank goodness for that! Just cancelled my SKY today and the SKY guy told me only freeview channels could be recorded. Thought my wife would kill me. Looks like I am joining up at just the right time! Thanks for the update.

Am switching from Sky as I can't have a dish in my new flat. Is it possible to remote record BT extra channels from the youview iPhone app yet?
