Youview losing channels but retune not required

Hi, I’ve got an issue with my youview box losing freeview channels. I get the “weak signal” error every few days. However, unlike other people reporting the error, I can get around the problem by restarting the box and don’t need to retune. The problem is that any recordings that have occurred while it has no channels are obviously missing.

Anyone else had this issue or got a resolution?

I'm not saying this is your problem but we know that interference between cables around the TV/Box can affect things.

Try and ensure that the aerial cablen to the Youview box is as far away as possible from any other cables as sometimes poorly shielded cabling can interfere with the TV signal.

You could also may try a maintenance mode reset - here - using options 2 and/or 4. These options keep your recordings so are safe to do and can cure a multitude of ills.

Same issue and I have tried the option suggested and it doesn’t work. This only started happening a couple of weeks ago
