bt hub 5 fault on catch up & recording

Not able to record properly, some recordings not complete some don't record at all. On menu it takes up to 2 minutes to change from 1 set of 6 programmes to the next 6, the up & down buttons & left to right only function occasionally, I cannot get catch-up at all, the system often records a programme that i've not chosen. It's a mess. This problem has been with me since Christmas day and I have tried all the usual functions to try to remedy the problem but to no avail.

Hi @TOMJOYCE  welcome to the forum and sorry you are having a problem with program recordings. Have you tried a Reset of the BT TV Box. You can try the one to keep existing recordings but if you have no recordings or it does not resolve the issue try the option with deleting your recordings.
Check the Software on the box is up to date.
