bt sport uhd

today my new uhd youview box arrived.all channels work fine but bt sport uhd screen gose green I can see a picture trying to break through the screen.i am running my bt box via tp link powerlines.and my speed is 57.any help would be gratefully received.

could be an hdmi handshake problem, check that you are connected using the hdmi 2.0 input and that the tv is hdcp 2.2!

also make sure your are using the hdmi cable supplied with the box 🙂

thank you for your reply i have the HDMI lead in the correct socket and use the cable provided.i have a feeling my homeplugs are not fast enough to provide the speed needed.as they are about 6 years old.

Is it possible you could try the 10 meter cable that came with the tv box direct to your hub to eliminate it's not a speed issue. As bt recommend you need a speed of 44 to stream UHD smoothly. Are you going off the sync speed that your hub is showing as your throughput speed might be a slower, have you tried running a speed test?

I can't run a Ethernet straight to the the hub as it is upstairs bt are sending bt homeplug free of charge.my speed test via Ethernet running coming from homeplug to witch bt box is connected to is showing 52mb

That's great,  the old plugs must of been getting up to speed but struggling to maintain it. Result.
