I had issues with internet channels at the beginning of the month and with the help of the internet chat channel I did several maintenance updates to no avail
The supervisor on the chat interrogated the box remotely and said one of the Software Versions was incorrect, what I have is:
Manufacturer software 184.108.40.206
Component software 220.127.116.11
Platform configuratiom 3034
ISP Configuration 243

She said the Platform configuration should be 3134 and was sending an engineer to fix it.
The engineer duly arrived - somehow - not sure what changed - the internet channels were working when he came,
He did numerous checks on levels etc and was satisfied things were ok, except my comment that the reason he was here was 3134 vs 3034 - he tried to phone BT Support to see what this meant and after a good 15 minutes the call hung up, this meant he had to submit his report and leave.
I have had several calls from BT support to see if I was happy, the service works but we still have 3134 - I have tried to escalate this issue on each support call but despite promises they havent phoned back.
Unfortunately the email of the chat never arrived.
My question - what Platform configuration should I have 3034 or 3134 ?
