no response from you view box

I have not had an HD signal for 6 months now but hoped that software updates would sort this and also I wanted to watch my recordings. Nothing changed for 6 months but now the box does not turn on at all. No orange light on the front panel, but does show the orange/green LAN lights when the power is on. Tried the 'hold volume - button then power on' option. This worked once but then hung on the please wait screen and has not responded at all since.

I take it it is dead but reading some posts, the support seems a bit slack INA some cases.

Any ideas, thoughts welcome.

Sounds like a dead box tbh - best best is to contact BT and see if they'll swap it out under warranty.
