now ive got the effing YV104!!! should i have got new powerline adapters?

ok initially all happy with youview!

 

now ive got to deal with this service crippling yv104 problem which basically renders the whole reason for geting youview pointless!

 

i presume theres no fix yet

 

ALSO  should i have recieved new pwerline adapters with the youview box?  im just using the old ones that i sued with the black vision box, could this be part of the problem?  

 

back to being annoyed customer in less than a week!

Have you tried a soft reset. Hold the circular button on the youview box for 8 secs. Doubt its the powerline adapters unless they are faulty but if they were working with a previous bt vision box then it won't be this. To get the adapters you had to request them when you ordered the youview box.

yep i followed those help giudes on the youview page and did the soft reset, its happened twice now though.

 

im just worried how its gonna affect the series record function!

I wish I could help you more, but we're not going to be using a YVBox, well not for the foreseeable future anyway.

Afraid to say I have it too.

 

Home Hub Manager is seeing the Ethernet Connection and reporting back a MAC Code (but not the normal Humax name).  Have booted both the Infinity Hub and the YouView Boxes but to no avail.

Sorted it.  The ethernet Port 1 on my Hub is obviously capput

Glad you got there, which hub do you have? Also, I wouldn't worry about this affecting recordings as the youview box does not need an internet connection to record, unlike the original vision boxes

HH2.  Emailed CS and they appear to be releasing a replacement HH to me.  There was me cussing the YouView box and the HomePlugs but hey presto moved a lead and got a connection.
