My father just received his youview box today and the above error appeared when I tried yo use bbc iplayer. I have tried all the other on demand options and they work successfully. I tried the suggestion mentioned on a previous message by switching off and counting to 10 then going into device management. Still not working. Please help.
Interesting that currently the BBC has this message
We’re aware of an issue where some people can’t access BBC iPlayer on their YouView set-top-box and see the error message “YVM 105”.
If this happens to you, try restarting your YouView box.
If restarting doesn’t solve the problem, contact YouView Viewer Support to perform a Maintenance Mode Recovery. This process involves a few steps, so we strongly recommend you don’t try it on your own.

Meanwhile its probably worth checking for any software updates or Player updates on your youview box as new boxes may require a series of updates to bring them fully up to date.
& possibly doing a further power off and restart afterwards.
