Another ASUS DSL-AC68U question...

I have read the previous posts about issues with this router on a BT Infinity 1 VDSL connection, however they all talk about dropping out etc. I simply cannot get my ASUS to see the internet at all!

I try the setup wizard and it only offers me BT Infinity 2, Business or Infinity (No VLAN ID). I have Infinity 1. I have tried all of these and none of them work.

I have tried bthomehub@btbroadband.com with a password either blank or “BT” and (at the suggestion of BT) first name.lastname@btbroadband.com.

The DSL light on my ASUS is on but is simply says the internet in disconnected?

What am I doing wrong?

Infinity1 and Infinity2 are identical, Infinity 1 just has a speed cap and is totally irrelevant as far as the ASUS is concerned, choose Infinity2. You need a VLAN ID of 101 and user name bthomehub@btbroadband.com and password BT

I had done this but nothing, I left it for a couple of hours and now it is fine! Hey ho, the mysteries of networking. Many thanks.
