BT Digital Voice

Hi, I have BT digital voice now for a few weeks and have noticed that I can have an incoming call and an outgoing call at the same time. I have 2 sets of Dect Cordless phones , once set is connected to an adapter and the second to the back of the BT Hub2. I have also noticed that if I have an incoming call  and answer it on one Dect set of phones, I cant pick up the call on the other set. Is this a feature of BT Digital voice and also can I use call divert to a mobile from this type of phone.
