it doesn’t do Atmos I am afraid, nor on Apple TV 4K…

but I think it’s an Amazon issue…

WWhat box and software version are you on?

Tried rings and also jack Ryan via TV (uses Google TV) and atmos definitely working. Via bt box, it doesn't engage. 

Bug in amazons app.

While its true the amazon app on BT Pro box doesn't output atmos, I think your setup has also a deeper issue. Hope you get that fixed.

I had to do a factory reset last night due to getting ‘content protection’ errors at every step - despite no attempt to watch a UHD channel.

after the reset ITVX replaced ITV HUB It seems bettter than the Apple TV version of the app.

I've just found that ALL my 1am recordings on WWE live on BT Sport say 'Failed to Record'  -  yet most of my daytime recordings are correct and present.

Even last night's #465 football recorded complete.

I don't know if it has been suggested previously or not but having enjoyed Virgin Media's TiVo for many months in the past and since switching the the BT Box Pro which shares many similar features I really do miss the fact that the BT box does not remember previous recording requests (I believe the SKY box can do that too). For example if I record say Springwatch for one season the box will remember that and automatically record all new season episodes unless requested not to. Can that feature be incorporated into a future software upgrade I wonder?
