BT and coronavirus (Covid-19)

We know these are challenging times, and much of the UK is relying on our network to stay in touch with friends and family and to get vital information. We want you to know that we’ll be here to help you through and keep you connected.

We’ve put together a page covering everything you need to know about what we’re doing to help, BT and coronavirus (Covid-19)

You can find out:

  • How we’re helping customers keep costs down
  • How to get in touch with us and who to talk to if you’re worried
  • How we’re keeping our network fit and healthy and our customers connected
  • What entertainment options are available to help you pass the time while at home

We’re here to help

We’re doing everything we can to balance the needs of our customers with the wellbeing of our people. This means the wait time to speak to us might be a little longer than usual – particularly as we’re getting more calls than normal.

Remember, you can also use My BT online or download the My BT app to manage your bills, top-up, buy packs and much more.

The BT Community is also a great place to ask for help and advice about BT products and services. It’s available 24 hours a day, so you can ask questions and find answers when you need them without having to call.

The community isn’t just a place to come if you are having problems – if you just want to pop by for a chat that’s great.

Beware of scams

Unfortunately, there are some people out there who will try to use coronavirus as a way to scam people, sending text messages and emails that attempt to look like they’re from BT.

Do not click on any links that you’re unsure of. To learn more please visit BT Scams
