BT video baby monitor 6000 additional camera

If you hold down the ok for afew seconds a small circle appears up on the left. That rotates between them every few seconds automatically. I found it by accident. I havent used it on the sound detection when watching both cameras yet.

Yes it’s still BT. 

It seems to be the newest model, you can also access the camera from an app on your phone.

I have installed that app (think it's a great idea) but it doesn't seem to want to pair with my 6000 camera. Should it work? The app says to hold the link button until the camera beeps but it doesn't beep just makes the light flash...

Do you need to turn off the parent base unit to get it to work?

So I had a reply from the app customer services and it seems the 6000 camera doesn't work with the app...has to be BT Smart Baby Monitor 2.8 or the BT Smart Baby Monitor 5.

That’s disappointing as well as useless. 

I’m guessing the 6000 camera won’t work with the bt smart monitor parent unit either?

Does anyone know if the parent unit on the 4000 will work on the 6000 camera? It looks identical to the 6000 parent unit but as the 4000 doesn’t have remote pan and tilt, I’m wondering if this functionality won’t be available?
