Bt Mail Login Page

How do I add my email address and password to the list that appears in the login page? Fed up of typing my address and password.

Re: Bt Mail Login Page

Welcome to the forum. You can't do it for webmail, which is a real pain if you're checking multiple email addresses. Try using an email client such as Thunderbird instead - they can log in and download messages automatically when launched and check for new messages at regular intervals while open.

Re: Bt Mail Login Page

It all depends by what you mean.

BTMail or BTYahoo Mail?

What platform? (Windows, Chrome, Android, iOS ...)

What method? (App, programme, web browser - and which one?)

Re: Bt Mail Login Page

Thanks for the reply. I didn't follow all of it but I will try to expand my problem.

I am using the Chrome browser and when I go log on to BT mail I am asked to put in my userename and password. To

assist me a list appears with addresses that are out of date. I delete the one in the box and enter my address

and then my password. All a bit tedious but I don't know how to cahnge it.

Re: Bt Mail Login Page

Have a read through this link. It explains how to clear out old passwords etc from Chrome.

I suspect that you have Chrome set to save your passwords, or form fills...  You may need to remove old ones.

Try looking  here for instructions about the passwords

or just see what you have saved here:  https://passwords.google.com/

Hopefully that is the case, and then when you next log in, Chrome will ask to save the new login details, so you have them for the future.

If it isn't in the password section, this is for form fills
