The 18-month contract for my BT broadband+TV package is ending in June and there are no available offers online for me to view. I am considering giving a call to the customer service but there are posts by BT everywhere that call centres are really busy.
Should I contact BT about extension of my contract or should I wait customer service to contact me for renewal in order not to keep the lines busy.

You can call this number 0800 800 030, that number is for contract renewals only. They usually answer very quickly, and you can discuss the renewal of your discounts.
