Default On Credit File

Hi,

Can someone please help? I have a default noted on my credit file which I have disputed with Equifax and have now been told I must contact you to have it removed.  I've tried calling but not getting anywhere.  I really need this removed as it is affecting my credit.

Hi, @jl2271 welcome to the community and thanks for posting. That's not the correct process, if the default has been applied in error Equifax need to liaise with a specialist team in BT directly to get it removed.

I'll send you a private message to get in touch with the moderation team and we'll be happy to see if there is anything we can do to help.

I tried calling you back this morning.  I'm sorry that the default was added to your credit file.  I sent you a private message this morning to let you know I got that all sorted out for you.
