Do I have to re-contract to get caller display ID?

I'm trying to add caller display ID on my phone package, which is free.

All goes well through the process of adding this on until it comes to the terms and conditions tick box. It says do you agree to the terms and conditions and then talks about starting a new contract.

I'm not currently in a contract at the moment. But I want this caller display ID. If I tick the box to accept the terms and conditions am I also re-contracting?

The reason I'm reluctant to re-contract is I'm looking to downgrade packages, though apparently this can't be done online. So I don't want to re-contract at my current level.

So the question is, do I have to re-contract to get caller display ID?

It would only affect the landline contract, which would be renewed for 12 months.

Thanks mate.

The way its worded sounded like they were cramming any eventuality in to one tick box, so it got confusing.
