FTTC coming to my area soon?

Hi all,

It says on the Fibre Optic Checker that FTTC is coming to my area soon, but it has been saying that for 5 months or so. Does anyone have a rough time scale that it takes for this to get installed? At the moment I can’t even watch 2 videos at once or game online without getting any lag. As you can imagine gaming etc is getting more demanding on internet speeds nowadays.

How long is a piece of string, there are no general timescales. It could be weeks, months or even years depending on what problems need to be resolved.
