I'll get straight to the point. Our local exchange at Felsted, Essex is now fibre enabled and have rolled out the serivce to our cabinet 8 FTTC our development is 1.2 miles from the exchange, our postcode is CM63FU. As you will see at
we are still in a phase of 'Connect', we have been in a phase of connect for 6 months!! Only 3 weeks ago i met up with an openreach engineer working at cabinet 8, I quote there should be no reason why customers on the Flitch Green Development should not be able to order Fibre Broadband all the work has been completed'. The BT website states clearly that typically the 'connect' phase should not last longer than 4 months. When are we likey to be moving to 'Superfast Accepting Orders' phase. Does anybody at Openreach have an explaination for this unwelcome delay.
PLEASE TURN ON OUR FIBRE SERVICE SOON!

Welcome to this user forum.
This is just a BT Retail customer forum, and has nothing to do with Openreach. All you can do is to keep asking them using their request form.
I have done that, they have not responded. I am hoping that this will is some way filter through to Openreach via this avenue.
Any ideas if this post can be forwarded on to find a solution?
Thank you for your reply.
Access to Openreach is the same for all providers. BT Retail does not have, and would not be allowed, any privileged access.
it is SEP Essex you should write to find out why delay
|Cabinet P8||FTTC being Connected, live due by February 2018||Phase SEP Essex 20a||Huawei||CM6 3FD|
Thanks for the reply. Could I ask what, SEP Essex is? I will write to them.
Many thanks for taking time to dig into this.
